Johnny Cash - 80th Birthday Celebration Concert - Poster Design and Art
Recently I was commissioned to do a poster design for a tribute concert in honor of what would have been Johnny Cash’s 80th Birthday. It was held in Austin on April 20th and featured many amazing acts paying tribute to Mr. Cash. (The artists featured on this poster weren’t all in the final lineup since this was an early layout). Unfortunately, the poster never got used but I’m still pretty proud of it.

I tried to get a better likeness with the final since I didn’t think my sketch captured him. However, I still think he looks a bit like James Gandolfini, he was much harder to capture than I expected.
